Drug Search Consequences
Age 13, Wisconsin, United States
I’m sorry. I was angry. I was upset.
You hurt my feelings. You rejected me, pushed me away.
I only said that I thought you and your boyfriend were doing drugs.
I had no idea it would get you in so much trouble.
I didn’t mean to cause so much trouble.
I had no idea that it would turn out so bad.
I’m so sorry. I hope you forgive me!
What did you learn?
There can be some really tough consequences for telling the truth. But as sorry as I am that people got in trouble, IT’S THEIR FAULT.
They choose to do drugs. They choose to share them with other people. They were the stupid ones. Most of all, they hurt themselves and their families.
Some people will never look at them quite the same because everyone knows what happened. I’m not responsible for that. They have to find a way to redeem themselves, to be better. Everyone deserves a second chance. I’m praying for that.
